We source and purchase yak down from local nomadic communities in the Tibetan region north of Qinghai Lake in China. The herders are paid a fair price that provides a valuable source of income and encourages them to collect the fiber. We process the raw fiber locally, employing Tibetan people that we have trained. The de-haired yak fiber is sold to a few small companies who share our vision for yak fiber and the social benefit it provides to Tibetan herders. We also produce our own range of luxury scarves made locally with our own weaving machines.

Our Vision:

We envision the utilization of local yak down resources as part of a solution for addressing employment difficulties for local nomadic communities.

our Mission:

We are dedicated to social entrepreneurship as a means to solve social issues and eliminate poverty.

All human beings are very creative - full of potential, full of energy... So, money kind of allows them to express it... And if you’re successful, you can take more money. You can expand your capacity, reach next level of capacity, and so on.
